Intervention

Post

Woodbridge School’s academic and socioeconomic diversity creates unique needs and challenges. Collectively, we are committed to meet individual needs so that students reach their fullest academic and social potential to become productive citizens.

We have a full-time Intervention teacher, Miss Schumann, who works with the teaching team to create specific intervention plans for students who are behind in their grade level in reading.  She meets daily with students in groups of 5 or less, providing individual instruction on targeted skills.

Each staff member is considered a valued member of the team and works closely in the spirit of dedication, enthusiasm, and collaboration by:

  • Helping students feel accepted and secure.
  • Clarifying, enriching and providing models for success.
  • Encouraging students to think, work hard and develop confidence and responsibility.
  • Seeking ways to develop professionally and providing optimum services to students.

We are proud Woodchucks!
