Principal’s Welcome Message

Post

Welcome to Woodbridge!

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we gear up for another amazing school year! On behalf of the entire staff at Woodbridge Elementary, I extend a warm welcome back to all our returning families. To those who are joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you become a part of our Woodbridge community.

Building Positive Relationships:

At Woodbridge Elementary, we firmly believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving educational environment. We understand that learning flourishes when students feel supported, valued, and safe in their school community.  This year our staff will continue to use our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) model and expectations to ensure all students feel supported and a part of their school and classroom community.

Setting High Expectations:

We believe that every child has the potential for greatness. We are committed to providing a challenging and rigorous academic program that encourages critical thinking, learning from mistakes, and fostering a growth mindset. By creating multiple  learning opportunities for our students, we are supporting our students to unlock their full potential and prepare them for success in their future endeavors.

Working Together:

As our school year gets underway, let’s work together in creating a positive, nurturing, and academically enriching environment for all our students. I encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education, join our amazing PTC, attend our fun school events, and communicate with your child’s teachers regularly. Together, we can positively  impact your child’s success here at Woodbridge Elementary.

Please know that my door is always open, and I welcome your feedback, suggestions, and ideas.

Best Regards,

Jolene Wegsteen
